Following are the purpose of Malicious softwares

• Steal information such as passwords, security codes, credit card information using key loggers etc
• Delete or replace Operating System’s critical files
• Generate fake traffic to create DoS attacks
• Download spyware, adwares and malicious files
• Disable firewalls and antivirus
• Record screenshots, audio and video of victim’s PC
• Infect victim’s PC as a proxy server for replaying attacks
• Use victim’s PC for spamming and blasting email messages
• Use victim’s PC as a botnet to perform DDoS attacks
